Outreach Reports:

Food Pantry
Our food pantry drive is the second Sunday of every month. You can drop food off at the Outreach Office. We assist 40 - 50 families every month with food. These families range from single parent families, elderly, disabled, to senior citizens.  Many are working, but are struggling to make ends meet.

Our Daily Bread
On the first Thursday of each month, from 7:30am - 9:00am, we collect meatloaf casseroles on the Rectory parking lot and deliver them to Our Daily Bread. Casserole pans and recipes are available in the back of the Church, the weekend before our collection, or anytime in the Rectory office. We also provide volunteers who help serve the meals that day at Our Daily Bread. Our volunteers meet in the parking lot and leave at 9am to serve. If you are interested in volunteering at Our Daily Bread please call us.

Red Cross Blood Drive
We host three blood drives a year. We are always looking for people to donate blood. The Red Cross always needs blood.  Check our Calendar of Events for our next blood drive.

Nursing Homes
We visit two nursing homes weekly, Genesis Cromwell and Loch Raven located on Emge Road. We have a prayer and Communion service weekly and celebrate Mass once a month. We run a bingo the second Saturday of the month at Loch Raven nursing home.

Outreach
We assist with BGE bills (turn-off notices) and rent evictions. We also offer bus tokens for transportation. We have literature on various programs that are available to the needy. We also can refer them to other outreach centers for help.
Shut-In's
We take Communion to the homebound parishioners who are not able to attend Sunday Mass. If you know anyone who needs Communion, please contact us.

Hospitals
We visit three hospitals in the area. They are GBMC, Good Samaritan, and St. Joseph. If you or any of your relatives go in the Hospital, please contact us or the rectory so we can have a Priest or Deacon visit you.

Holiday Giving
For Thanksgiving we provide baskets of food for the needy in the community. For Christmas we provide
gifts and food to the needy in the community. For Easter we provide Easter baskets and food for the needy in the community. Last year we handed out 69 Easter baskets to 35 families.

Advent Giving
We collect for the nursing homes, the Hickey School, the Baltimore Pregnancy Center, and the Don Miller House.
