O Lord our God,
Today we gather to celebrate our Parish Anniversary.
As we honor this occasion,
may we hold in remembrance our local community
and the generations that have gone before us,
those who built this church
with their talents, treasure,
and their sacrifice.
May this commemoration of our 75 th Anniversary
be the occasion to recall the place
where our community gathers to pray,
our threshold to the gate of heaven.
May this church, built of living stones,
celebrate and honor our local traditions
and rejoice that salvation is occurring
here in this place and now at this hour.
May our celebration be a source of grace
and the inspiration for all who gather in your name.
We ask this through Christ Our Lord.
